KARACHI
Pakistani rupee snapped a two-day winning streak against the US dollar by shedding 47 paisas (-0.27 percent) on Friday.
The State Bank of Pakistan said in a statement on Thursday that the dollar opened at Rs175.39 in the interbank market and closed at Rs175.86. The rupee witnessed a trading range of 56 paisas during the session, showing the intraday high bid of 175.95 and low offer of 175.50. Within the open market, the rupee was traded at 176.50/177.50 per dollar.
