RAWALPINDI, January 02 (Online): Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan can quit the government but will not surrender before NRO.
“PM Imran Khan will not resign. He can quit the government but will not surrender before NRO”, he said this while talking to media men during his visit to NADRA office here Saturday.
He went on to say PDM was hoodwinking people. PDM has accepted their defeat.PDM has decided it will take part in election. PPP won and PDM suffered defeat. PPP forced them to surrender. They will not give resignations but will stage long march. The day oppositon will announce date for holding long march we will assert our legal and constitutional option on the said date.
He underlined “ it is good thing they talked of participating in the polls because the field should not be left vacant.
Regarding PPP he said the powers for wrist watch, stick and decsions about Bilawal Bhutto Zardari rest with Asif Ali Zardari. The politician who don’t keep the way to dialogue open he lacks wisdom. Asif Zardari is paving the ways for himself while PML-N have closed the ways for themselves.
Whosoever talks against army or institutions, case will be registered against him within 72 hours, he stated. Mufti Kafayat Ullah case has been referred to KP government.
About Maulana Fazlur Rehman he said Maulana is a religious scholar and he should keep in view resepct for Islamabad and Islamabad. His stars are eclipsed. His politics has taken reverse turn and he is frurstrated. He should depart from dreaming of occupying Islamabad.
“We have complete data of Afghan refugees. Only 15 lac registered Afghan refugees are allowed to live in Pakistan. About 8 lac Afghan refugess are settled in Pakistan illegally. The cards of 2 lac Afghan refugees have been bocoked who are setteld in Pakistan illegally.
He stated the manual visa for China and Afghanistan has been revoked. Launching of online visa by us has eliminated corruption. About 2 lac appliations for online visa were received in one day.
About Nawaz Sharif passport he said Nawaz Sharif passport period is going to expire on February 16 and later it will not be renewed.
