Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif has expressed concern over reporting of a polio virus case after 15 months in the country.
The PM while summoning report from the concerned authorities on the causes leading to resurfacing of polio virus case has directed to devise strategy to eliminate the disease.
PM has also summoned meeting of the National Task Force for Polio Eradication on Monday.
On the other hand federal health minister Abdul Qadir Patel while presiding over a meeting with reference to the polio has said all the available resources will be utilized for the sake of best health of the children.
Eradication of polio is our moral obligation and we will have to increase our efforts two folds for elimination of polio, he stressed.
