Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif held telephone conversation with different global leaders and national and political leadership and conveyed Eid ul Fitr greetings to them.
He held telephone conversation with Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev today and conveyed Eid ul Fitr greetings and best wishes to him as well as the brotherly people of Kazakhstan.
Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi also called on PM
Both exchanged views in details on peace and security situation of the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over the law-and-order situation in the country on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.
The Interior Minister briefed the Prime Minister on security measures and progress on repatriation of Afghan nationals.
Mohsin Naqvi also extended Eid ul Fitr greetings to the Prime Minister.
According to PM office PM Shehbaz Sharif met his elder brother and PML-N president Mian Nawaz Sharif in Raiwind and extended Eid ul Fitr greetings to Mian Nawaz Sharif.
Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz and other members of Sharif family were present on the occasion.
Shehbaz Sharif gave briefing to Mian Nawaz Sharif on overall performance of government and the steps taken by the government for providing relief to people.
PM held telephone conversation with national leaders Ch Shujat Hussain, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Khalid Hussain Magsi, chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, speaker national assembly Sardar Ayyaz Sadiq and other leaders and extended Eid ul Fitr greetings.
