Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif will attend the 23rd meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) through video link from Islamabad on July 4.

Sharif will attend SCO meeting on the invitation of his Indian counterpart PM Narendar Modi.

The FO spokesperson said Iran will be welcomed in SCO meeting as new member of organization.
Pakistan considers SCO a forum for regional security and prosperity.
The participating leaders will deliberate over important regional and international issues.
