While taking a big decision on hoarding of sugar and stabilizing the price of sugar the Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has slapped ban on export of sugar. Besides imposing ban on export of sugar the PM has ordered to take stringent measures against smuggling of the sugar.
He has said those involved in hoarding, profiteering and artificial shortage of sugar must be dealt with sternly.
He directed the concerned departments to keep him informed continuously about effective implementation of his orders.
The respective officer and staff will be held responsible in the event of any negligence and slackness. The requirements of the people have to be met first and prices have to be stabilized, he directed.
