ISLAMABAD
Prime Minister Shehbaz Shareef took notice of violence incident happened to Additional Secretary Shamoon Hashmi’s family.
PM condemned the incident and seek report from Inspector General Police (IGP).
PM instructed the IGP to take strict action against those who are responsible.
According to sources, Prime Minister took notice and said issues like this are unacceptable. He said take immediate and strict action against those who are responsible of the violence on Shamoon Hashmi’s family and submit complete report.
Later on Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah also took notice of the aforementioned issue and directed IGP to investigate issue transparently and arrest those who are responsible.
Speaker National Assembly (NA) Raja Pervaz Ashraf made telephone to Shamoon Hashmi and condemned the incident. He also expressed sympathies to his family.
NA speaker also seek complete report of incident from IGP.
Regarding aforementioned voilance incident police sources said 8 people has been arrested red handedly and teams has been made to raid for the arrest of others. Very soon all accused will be arrest. Police is investigating issue transparently to provide justice to Shamoon Hashmi’s family.
Information minister Maryam Aurangzeb, federal minister of economic affairs Ayaz Sadiq expressed anger over the incident.
Chairperson of human rights standing committee also took notice, condemned incident and said transparent investigation to be made to bring those who are responsible before law and give them strict punishment .
On the other hand backers of accused involved in violence incidents are increasing pressure on Shamoon Hashmi and threatening him to murder.
Shamoon Hashmi said he will take lawful way forward.
“Case is in court and I will not accept any kind of pressure” he added.
He also expressed hope that justice will be served as per law.
All the legal requirements will be fulfilled in this case.
