Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has telephoned Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and expressed his gratitude to him in supporting and helping Pakistan to reach an agreement with IMF.
PM said “you played role of friend and well wisher of Pakistan and I thank you on behalf of people of Pakistan. Pakistan and Sri Lanka are close and trusted friends. We pay tribute to the role of Sri Lanka for regional development and peade.
He hoped Pakistan and Sri Lanka will soon come out of whirlpool of the prevailing economic difficulties.
