Interior minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said the treason cases be registered against political parties involved in the foreign conspiracy of no confidence motion against Prime Minister besides imposing ban on them.
“There is no other solution than election to take forward the country. Establishment should interfere. Elections should be held soon after holy month of Ramzan or Hajj. Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will continue to work with the powers of president. I am soon coming as anchor on TV. Nullah Leh is ominous as whenever I start working on it, the government is changed. My 50 years of politics have sunk in Nullah Leh”, he said this while addressing a press conference here Saturday.
Those who have gone dissidents among 172 persons remain no more able now to go to their constituencies. Then what will they represent the nation.
He held it is very clear in the article of the constitution if the no confidence motion succeeds then PM will continue to work with the powers of president. However the constitution is silent over how long he will continue to work with the powers of president.
He observed it is bad luck for this country that the father and son who were to be indicted on February 18 in Rs 16 billion case these both robbers are candidates. One among them is candidate for Premiership in centre and son is candidate for slot of chief minister in the province.
They are saying they will put our names in ECL. They are free to do so. We have no flats in Even Field.
He remarked opposition has been entrenched because Imran Khan has become popular . We have too committed mistakes.
There are two ways ahead, he said adding one is election should be held in the country and second is all 155 to 160 members of PTI should resign from their seats.
“I wanted to retire from politics but I have to work proactively in the present time. I have to expose these robbers. The courts could not indict them on February 18.
He observed there are four options left now, he said adding one is that establishment should interfere and hold election soon after Ramadan or Hajj. Second is that all the parties should be banned which presented no confidence motion against the Prime Minister after receiving money from foreign powers. The third is if elections are not held then all the members of PTI should resign from their seats.
I will see how they run the country, he added.
The last solution is this I make direct request to the institutions that the question of security of this country has arisen. The fight has gone at the level of streets. Country can not afford it.
Declaring political war against the opposition he said “ I am not associate of PTI. Monthly “bhutta” (extortion money) comes to Asif Zardari. Do the institutions not know who hands over Bhutta to Asif Zardari.
He disclosed during his press conference he probably is coming as anchorperson on one TV channel after Ramadan or Eid.
To a question he said Fawad Chaudhry is law minister. If he sends the request for treason case I just now sign it.
He announced bonus equal to one month salary for the employees of interior ministry.
GHQ is my constituency but no one comes from there to cast vote. A few people cast votes. If all the people cast votes then I will feel no need of any one else vote.
