Federal Minister for Information Ataullah Tarar on Sunday said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) believes in the politics of public service and remains committed to the country’s development and prosperity.
Addressing a ceremony in Lahore, the minister said PML-N’s women leaders have always prioritized public welfare, while party workers have stood by the leadership through every difficult phase. He thanked party workers for their continued support and confidence.
Referring to the Kashmir issue, Tarar said Kashmiris across the world remain emotionally attached to Pakistan and reiterated the slogan, “Kashmir Banega Pakistan.”
He said the sacrifices of those who migrated from Kashmir would always be remembered and vowed not to allow anyone to question their patriotism.
The information minister said every conspiracy against the Kashmir cause would be defeated and stressed that the upcoming elections in Kashmir were of great significance.
Commenting on recent political developments, Tarar criticized Noreen Niazi, sister of the PTI founder, alleging that her recent remarks had been highlighted by Indian media. He said such statements had caused public anger and accused certain political elements of attempting to malign Pakistan for political purposes.
He maintained that politics based on violence and agitation had failed, adding that Pakistan’s international standing and prestige were steadily improving.
He said those seeking to damage the country’s image had always faced public rejection, expressing confidence that Pakistan would continue its journey of progress and development.
