Deep cracks have started emerging in PML-N following the crushing defeat it met at the hands of PTI in Punjab by polls and a strong group of PML-N has become active to make Maryam Nawaz chairperson of the party.
This group is named as Maryam Nawaz group.
Sources said that senior leadership of the party has sent message to Nawaz Sharif neither Shahbaz Sharif did run the government nor party and Hamza Shahbaz too could not perform due to which the party was dealt a serious blow in by polls in Punjab as it had to suffer a humiliating defeat therein.
The party leaders advised that if the government has to complete its term then let Shahbaz Sharif run the government. The slot of president of party should be withdrawn from Shahbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz be made chairperson of the party.
The party leaders further said Nawaz Should return to Pakistan forthwith and handle himself all the matters. The country needs Nawaz Sharif urgently at present. If Nawaz Sharif stays for some time more in London then Maryam Nawaz be made chairperson of the party. There is no other better choice than this.
