The provincial minister for labor and parliamentary affairs Shaukat Yousifzai has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has no personal interests to launch an anti government long march., saying Imran Khan has taken the stand to protect the rights of people and sovereignty of the country.
While reacting to a press conference addressed by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Maryam Aurgazaib, he said that she was making pretty and personal attacks on Imran Khan and other leaders of PTI.
Shaukat Yousifzai said “Maryam Aurangzaib and the entire leadership of PML-N suffer from Imran Khan phobia”.
“PML-N suffers from Imran Khan phobia and it does not have the capacity to think about issues beyond him (Imran Khan),” he criticized.
In a statement issued here, he said that the repeated use of words like ‘filth and temptation’ expressed the narrative being forwarded by the spokesperson of the PML-N led government.
PTI chairman and former prime minister has kicked started its long march from Lahore and would reach Islamabad without any delay and negotiation with the incumbent government, he added and said that Yousifzai maintained that Pakistan Army is the pride of whole nation and PTI workers and senior leadership have always paid respect to Army and other institutions of the country.
He expressed his surprise and said that there was nothing for the public interest in the whole press conference; the ministers of the ‘imported government’ had nothing to say about their progress so far.
Provincial Minister Shaukat Yusufzai maintained that there should be respect for political opponents and leadership of political parties and urged Maryam Aurangzeb to carefully choose words in her press conferences against PTI leaderships.
