Lahore: A resolution seeking notice of poor performance of price control committees has been submitted to the Punjab Assembly Secretariat. The text of the resolution submitted by PML-N member Rabia Nusrat said that poor performance of price control committees across the province including Lahore is a matter of concern. Inflation on the one hand in rampant and on the other hand profiteers are robbing the people, resolution stated. She stated in the resolution that illegal profiteers are selling goods at arbitrary prices, which is evidence of poor performance of price control committees. It is demanded that the government take immediate action taking notice of the poor performance of the price control committees. Online
