PML-N election cell head Senator Ishaq Dar has said his party will not forge broader electoral alliance with any one in general election and seat to seat adjustment will be made at limited scale.
“Party tickets will be finalized far before January 12 and mass election campaign will be started following the distribution of tickets, he said this while talking to media men in parliament house on Friday.
Our party has worked on distribution of tickets forcefully, he said adding PML-N has taken interviews from over 2200 candidates. A 33-member board of PML-N took interviews. The top leadership will decide finally about distribution of tickets after consultation. Tickets will be finalized before January 12.
He indicated all the candidates have been directed to file nomination papers. All the candidates except those whom tickets are given will withdraw their nomination papers. There is nothing worrisome about distribution of tickets. Still several days are left.
He went on say there are good relations with Maulana Fazlur Rehman. We have great respect for him. Respect is aside and elections are aside.
To a question about treatment of police with Shah Mehmood Qureshi he said law should be Implemented. But PTI history too is not so good. We and Shah Mehmood Qureshis have done politics together. The history authored by PTI about political victimization has no precedent in history.
