Resignation option
LONDON/ISLAMABAD
PML-N while taking another U-Turn has decided not to pursue a tough stance on in house change in Punjab and Centre and resignation options.
On the other hand PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif has issued directives to all central leaders to go active for the success of party candidates in Local Bodies (LB) polls in Punjab and no impression of division or rift in the party should emerge.
According to sources PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif took his elder brother Nawaz Sharif into confidence on all the situation and made it clear only one and half year is left in holding general elections and this government can hold snap elections as well. Therefore, we should not consider the option of pulling down the government and no trust move should not be brought against chairman Senate, speaker National Assembly, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Usman Buzdar. The resignations and no trust move options should be used at the time when we have the desired number of parliamentarians and all the opposition parties should have consensus stance over it.
Nawaz Sharif agreed to it and Shahbaz Sharif has issued directives to senior leaders of party in this regard. He has directed that only performance of the government should be targeted. The government poor policies in the context of growing poverty, inflation, unemployment and poverty should be exposed. Shahbaz Sharif himself too will I release statements on this count to mount pressure on the government.
On the other hand the sources have said former speaker National Assembly (NA) Ayyaz Sadiq during his meeting with Nawaz Sharif in London informed the latter about the government policy on bulldozing legislation and speaker partial attitude in joint session of the parliament ,. Political situation and parliamentary affairs also came under discussion.
Nawaz Sharif deplored government policy on bulldozing the crucial legislation saying plan is underway to rig the polls through Electronic Voting Machine which will not be allowed to succeed.
He held government has turned the parliament into rubber stamp and a circus show. PML-N should play a pro-active role in the parliament.
Ayyaz Sadiq presented a list of two dozens people who wanted to join PML-N,
