Islamabad: A trend of reduction in the prices of petroleum products has been observed in the global market. There is also possibility of providing relief on petroleum products tomorrow in Pakistan. The prices of petroleum products are expected to decrease by Rs 12 per liter in the country from December 16. According to media sources, the price of diesel by Rs 12 per liter and of petrol by Rs 10 per liter is likely to decrease for next 15 days of December. The price of Kerosene oil is also likely to decrease by Rs 7 and the price of light diesel is likely to decrease by Rs 13 per liter. Caretaker Government is considering several proposals to take advantage of the fall in prices of petroleum products. PSO has been allowed to use the reduction in petrol prices in November to recover exchange rate loses. A summary of price revisions of petroleum products by OGRA sent to Ministry of petroleum and after consultation with Prime Minister (PM), Finance Minister will issue final decision. Online
