LAKKI MARWAT: Unidentified gunmen shot dead a police clerk at Michenkhel locality in Lakki City on Saturday, official sources said. They said that Gul Rehman, pay-officer in DPO office was leaving his home for a morning walk when Unidentified gunmen riding motorcycle opened fire on him, leaving him critically injured. The assailants managed their escape good while the injured was shifted to the City Hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead. The body was handed over to the relatives after medico-legal formalities. His funeral was offered at the Police Lines Lakki which was attended by District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner Iqbal Hussain and other police officials. His second funeral prayer was offered at Kabir Camp House at Michenkhel and was attended by people from all walks of life. He was laid to rest at Michenkhel graveyard with state honour.
