PESHAWAR: Two abducted individuals, identified as Saeed Gul and Hakeem Khan were safely recovered from the clutches of kidnappers demanding a hefty ransom of 100 million rupees. In a significant operation by Cantt Division Police the dangerous kidnapping gang’s ringleader, identified as Jamshed, was apprehended. Jamshed, a resident of Kokikhel in Khyber District, played a central role in the abduction. APP
The incident unfolded on September 6 when the kidnappers forcibly took the transport trader, Saeed Gul, along with friends, from the Achini Double Road area, near Sarband Police Station.
The kidnappers later transferred the victims to an undisclosed location using a different vehicle after initially abducting them.
They demanded a 100 million rupees ransom from the victims’ families via mobile phone.
Taking swift action, Peshawar’s Chief Police Officer, Syed Ashfaq Anwar, and SSPO Operations, Aftab Abbasi, SHO Sarband police station Kalimullah established a special team dedicated to the safe recovery of the victims.
A specialized team from Capital City Police Peshawar employed modern scientific methods to successfully recover Saeed Gul and Hakeem Khan, ensuring their safety.
