SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi has directed stern action against the criminals involved in street crimes and other anti-social activities in the provincial capital.
He said that police officers should play their role in controlling crimes in Peshawar, adding that police have rendered unmatched sacrifices in line of duty and maintaining law and order situation and face the challenges of terrorism as a frontline force.
SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi expressed these views during a ceremony held to give cash awards to cops who performed their duty in excellent manner.
“Following in the footsteps of their forefathers, the police officers should work with honesty and sincerity to reduce crimes,” he added.
Made the statement yesterday on the occasion of an orderly room held in his office to give cash rewards to the policemen who have shown good performance and to listen to legitimate arguments.
Police officers who demonstrated good performance were awarded with certificates and cash prizes.
He also issued different directions after listening to complaints of police on the occasion.
