PESHAWAR: The Police seized large quantities of drugs in a major operation in the jurisdiction of the Sarband Police Station from a residential house, an official of the Police told media men here on Saturday. Police arrested two suspects belonging to an inter-provincial drug smuggling network. The arrested accused are brothers, who belong to Khyber district, the Police said. The official said that 47 kg of hashish and 6 kg of opium were recovered during a raid on a residential house with the help of Ladies Police. The arrested accused Fayaz and Abdul Rehman are involved in smuggling drugs to other cities after collecting them. Police registered a case against the alleged accused and started further investigation, the Police confirmed.
