Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan will be brought to the judicial complex tomorrow (Tuesday) to hear the cipher case in a special court. Administration and other concerned departments will hold a meeting today (Monday).
Earlier, the Special Court (Official Secret Act) had issued summons to Chairman PTI Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi for November 28.
Sources said that the law and order situation is expected to remain under control during Imran Khan’s appearance as most of the PTI leadership has gone into hiding or left the party to avoid arrest.
However, the Special Branch of the Police and other relevant departments have started collecting classified information which will help them in their security planning.
There are 3 routes to bring Imran Khan to Judicial Complex, one is Peshawar Road, second is Islamabad Expressway and third is Murree Road.
Sources said that Peshawar Road would be the preferred option to take Imran Khan from the jail to the judicial complex.
He said that the red zone is likely to be partially sealed on Tuesday, besides important installations in and around the red zone.
Sources said that the judicial complex will be surrounded by police and paramilitary forces.
Important points and roads leading to the judicial complex are likely to be sealed.
Troops are also likely to be deployed near important places of the capital like Faizabad, Zero Point, Srinagar Highway and Red Zone.
