When we see drinking polio drops, we remember our childhood. But now every day we hear that the polio team has been harassed in such and such a place. Sometimes we get the news that a polio worker has been killed. The government is giving so much emphasis and so much money is being spent. It is very interesting that more than 200,000 polio workers are doing their duty in the fight against polio for only two cartridges. There are three types of which we don’t know about. They increase their number by going into the intestine through the mouth in the human body and reach the organ cells that control the bursts and make the bursts controlled by the nerves useless, which makes the human being unable to walk. He is incapable and is crippled for the rest of his life. This disease is called poliomyel which is transmitted from one person to another.
And it is also transmitted in this way. If a polio-affected person defecates and does not wash his hands well, the germs are transmitted to others through water. They continue to make assumptions. But till date there is no cure for this disease. Medical science has progressed a lot, but it has failed completely in eradicating this disease and making the polio-affected people normal again. But this virus can enter children and adults alike. And it remains in his body to thrive. According to a report in the US in the mid-1990s, 2000 cases were reported annually in the US. And the epidemic spread to such a dangerous extent that more than 9 thousand cases were reported annually. To deal with this dangerous situation, American doctors worked together and finally launched the first vaccine in 1955, which was called by Jiss Salik. Named. And this vaccine was injectable and given by injection. And because of its use, between 1955 and 1957, the number of polio cases was After that, in 1966, this vaccine was given orally in the form of cartridges, and until 0200, there was no name or sign of polio in the United States.
Although polio virus was found in many countries before 2000, but other countries controlled it. India was also declared a polio-free country in 2011, and in this way, polio has been eradicated from Nigeria in 2016. Now only Afghanistan and Pakistan are in the world. Polio cases are increasing instead of decreasing. The government is using all resources to prevent it, but no significant results are being obtained. It is very important to mention that if we talk about 2019 and 2021 A record number of cases have come out in three years. The reason for this is that people are spreading false rumors about the polio vaccine. The government is trying hard to prevent this by holding awareness banners and seminars. is doing but still these rumors are not reducing. And the government also gives security to the polio workers so that nothing bad happens to them. Due to several deadly attacks, security has been increased and given to the army. Now the army is ahead in providing security in the polio campaign. Hundreds of parents have been arrested for not feeding Hundreds of parents were arrested for not giving polio vaccine to their children
and endangering public health.
In Pakistan, there were 306 polio cases in 2015 and 20 in 2016, thus only one case was reported in 2017, but after a few months in 2018, the number of cases increased again and reached 18. Thus people start rumour again about polio vaccine, People started saying that vaccine is deadly and there is no sanctified lab test and because of which we are making our children victims of polio ourselves. And thus giving polio drops to our children is a far cry and rather on polio workers. FIRs have also been filed in many places where murderous attacks have been carried out.
This is good Our government, district administration, police and army are all on the same page to eradication polio , and to make pakistan polio free country .secondly our religious leaders role is important religious leaders can use loud speaker for this purpose to convince people that their children must be polio vaccine against the polio.
Khyber district did not have a good impression regarding polio in the past but now the situation has changed there and the new district administration is doing a great job.

Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Shah Fahd, a meeting was held in Deputy Commissioner’s Office regarding the anti-polio campaign. District Chief Khyber Police Imran Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Hamid Khan, Commandant 214 Wing Lt. Col. Riaz, 27 Brigade were present in the meeting. Major Farhan, District Head of Health Department Dr. Zafar Ali Khan, Assistant Commissioner Bara Shahabuddin, Assistant Commissioner Lindikotal Irshad Ali, Tehsil Chairman Bara Mufti Kafeel, Additional Assistant Commissioner Jamrud Engineer Ahsan Tahir, Health Department, Education Department, Polio and other officials participated. In the meeting, the polio authorities gave a comprehensive report for the campaign, security of the polio teams, awareness campaign, report on the refusing parents and other issues. In which more than 232,000 children will be administered polio drops at their doorsteps through 969 polio teams, which will continue till September 4. will be appointed so that the campaign can be conducted in a peaceful environment. Khyber District Administration It has been appealed to the public to cooperate with the teams of the health department during the anti-polio campaign and give their children polio vaccinations so that their children can avoid lifelong permanent disability and eradicate polio from Khyber district. Complete elimination may be possible .
