THATTA: Provincial Minister for Works, Services, and Prisons, Ali Hassan Zardari, has reaffirmed that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), under the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and President Asif Ali Zardari, has always represented the people of the country and upheld their rights in accordance with the party’s manifesto. He made these remarks while offering condolences to PPP’s dedicated worker, Haji Gul Mohammad Samo, at Samo House in Thatta, on the demise of his son-in-law. The minister said that numerous development schemes have been completed, and an equal number are currently ongoing—not only in Thatta but throughout Sindh. “We are working on improving roads, pavements, strengthening canals, and enhancing the drainage system in Thatta. Our goal is to provide every possible facility to the people of this region,” he stated. He emphasized that while governments may launch projects, it is the people’s responsibility to take ownership of them. “Until villagers take responsibility for their schools, the education system cannot improve,” he added. Zardari further highlighted that Punjab, the country’s largest province, has 700,000 government employees, whereas Sindh, despite being smaller in population, has 500,000. News Desk
