PESHAWAR: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha on Sunday strongly condemned the suicide attack on Kabal Police Station in Swat, expressing grief over the loss of precious lives. In a statement, he offered condolences to the families of those killed and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. He said the sacrifices of police personnel and civilians in the fight against terrorism would always be remembered.
Mr Bacha said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had once again come under the grip of terrorism and criticised the provincial government over the deteriorating law and order situation. He urged federal and provincial security institutions to bring the perpetrators, facilitators and backers of the attack to justice and adopt an effective strategy to counter terrorism.
