The Cultural Wing of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) organized a prestigious ceremony at the Punjab Arts Rawalpindi in honor of the newly elected office-bearers of PPP Rawalpindi Division. A large number of party leaders, social figures, producers, and artists from the stage, television, and film industry attended the event.
The chief guest on the occasion was Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah. The newly elected President of PPP Rawalpindi Division Sardar Ashar Hayat Khan, General Secretary Malik Khalid Nawaz Bobby, and Information Secretary Usman Farooq Satti were congratulated, and their organizational services were appreciated.
Addressing the ceremony, Governor Syed Mehdi Shah highlighted the important role of the party’s Cultural Wing, stating that cultural activities play a vital role in promoting harmony, tolerance, and positive thinking in society. He expressed hope that the new office-bearers would further strengthen and organize the party at the divisional level.
Among those present were Sardar Zulfiqar Hayat Khan (candidate for Provincial Assembly PP-2 Hasan Abdal), Shehzada Kausar Gillani, Saadia Hayat, Rubina Qureshi, Sheikh Saeed, Dr. Muhammad Farooq Munir Farooqi (President, Human Rights & Interfaith Harmony Wing), Chatha Haji Khizar (President Sports Wing), Jameel Kiani, Mudassar Nawaz, Zahra Khan, Salma Khan, Dr. Abid Mehr, and Program Director Riffat Ali Qaiser.
The participants reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the party’s ideology and public service mission in a more active and organized manner, while engaging youth in positive activities through cultural initiatives.
