LONDON: Javed Hakeem Qureshi, founder member of Pakistan People Party and former MPA of PPP from Rawalpindi, passed away in London after illness. According to details, Javed Hakeem Qureshi became the President of PPP Rawalpindi in 1970 and He was elected MPA from Rawalpindi in the same capacity. The deceased was associated with journalism and education. During the Zia-ul-Haq era, he went into exile and settled in London and established an education system there. Ghazal Faisal, daughter of Javed Hakeem Qureshi, said that the deceased’s burial will be in London. Javed Hakeem Qureshi was also the President of Rawalpindi Press Club in the 1960s. Online
