PESHAWAR
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter president Mohammad Ali Shah Bacha has suggested to the provincial government to raise 50 percent in the salaries of government employees in the upcoming budget for the financial year 2023-24.
In a statement, Mohammad Ali Shah Bacha has said that government servants should have been given effective relief in the budget, adding that
wages of workers should be increased to Rs40000. He demanded the caretaker setup of KP to jack up the EOBI pension.
“The caretaker government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should provide full relief to the people in the budget” he said and added that it has become quite difficult for common people to meet ends.
The price of daily commodities and petrol diesel should also be reduced as skyrocketing inflation has been hitting everyone in the province.
The PPP leader claimed that its party central leadership had played a key role in 35% increase in government employees salaries in the federal government budget.
