ISLAMABAD: President has approved the bill related to suo motu notice powers of SC under article 184/3. A larger bench than the bench which has given original decision will be constituted to hear the review petitions on orders issued and decisions made under article 184-3. A period of 60 days will be given to file review petition. This will be applicable too to the orders and decisions given prior to approval of this law. President has signed the Supreme Court Review and Judgment Bill-2023. The petitioner will be authorized to appoint counsel of his own choice in Supreme Court for review. Time frame of 60 days will be given to file review petition. ONLINE
