Capt. (R) Dr. Ruqayya Saeed Hashmi, Global President of the Global & Commonwealth SME Club (GCSME) , and Salma Saeed Hashmi, Chairperson of the Parliamentary Caucus for Children with Disabilities and President of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, had the privilege of meeting Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Governor of Punjab, at the Governor House in Lahore.
As Chairperson of the Parliamentary Caucus for Children with Disabilities, Salma Saeed Hashmi has been a dedicated advocate for the rights and empowerment of children with disabilities, particularly those with Down syndrome. Her tireless efforts aim to create a more inclusive and supportive environment, promoting equal opportunities and access to education, healthcare, and employment for individuals with Down syndrome.
This distinguished meeting underscores the GCSME’s dedication to building robust relationships with key stakeholders in Pakistan, further solidifying their commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and economic growth.
Notably, Capt. Dr. Ruqayya Saeed Hashmi has had an illustrious career, serving as an Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan on Finance and as a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan. Her expertise and leadership have been instrumental in shaping the GCSME’s initiatives and fostering partnerships with influential leaders like Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan.
