successful operation in Bannu

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday paid tribute to the security forces for successfully conducting an operation against terrorists in Bannu. In separate statements, the president and the prime minister commended the security forces for killing 11 terrorists during the operation. They reiterated their resolve to completely eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and ensure lasting peace and stability. Zardari said the elimination of terrorists backed by "Fitna al-Hindustan” and “Fitna al- Khawarij” was inevitable to safeguard national security.
