Karachi: The business community has expressed their serious concern and anxiety over the exorbitant increase in petroleum prices. In a press release on Friday, Chief Petron UBG Munir and President United Business Group Zubair Tufail said that the recent hike in petroleum prices would cause a great damage to economy and the life of common and poor masses who are already confronted with challenges. They said the record rise in prices of petrol and diesel has triggered a fresh record of inflation sending the prices of food, transport and other essential items to new heights putting more pressure on the middle and lower class.
