Abid Saeed, Dr Zabita Khan Shinwari tenure extended as members of the search committee

The provincial government has finally started the process to appoint a permanent chairman for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) and complete its required members.
In this connection, the KP government extended the tenure of two members of the search committee for three years.
The search committee which is headed by the chief secretary has been tasked to complete the commission member’s panel and most important to appoint a permanent chairman for the KPPSC. It is to note here that currently, the commission is being run by an acting chairman.
A notification has been issued by establishment department KP stating that the tenure of ex two members of the search committee extended for further three-year.
The notification said that the competent authority extended the tenure of Abid Saeed, former chief secretary KP, Dr Zabita Khan Shinwari, retired vice chancellor Kohat University of Science & Technology as members of the search committee.
The post of chairman of KPPSC has been lying vacant for the last three months.
