On the recommendation of the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Governor of KP has appointed Prof. Dr Sardar Khan as Vice Chancellor of Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) for the period of three years with immediate effect.
Dr. Sardar Khan was working as full Professor Chairman in the Department of Environmental Science and Director advanced studies University of Peshawar and had completed his PhD from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing China. He has specialty in the field of Environmental and Food Chain Contamination and Health Risk, Remediation of Contaminated Soil and Water, Biochar Application and its Environmental Benefits, Pesticide Bioaccessibility and Bioaccumulation, and Pollution Bioassay. He has done three Post docs (organic waste resourcing, soil remediation and biochar application for environmental and agronomic benefits). He has published 149 research papers in the refereed international journals with total impact factor more than 464 and supervised 27 PhD and 25 MPhil/MS scholars dissertations.
