ISLAMABAD: A retirement reference and farewell ceremony was organized at Islamabad Model College for Boys (IMCB) F-10/4 in honor of renowned historian Professor Aftab Hayat, who retired after more than 35 years of dedicated service in the Federal Education System. Professor Aftab Hayat joined the Federal Directorate of Education as a lecturer on November 20, 1990. During his long and distinguished career, he served at several Federal Government Colleges, including Islamabad Model Postgraduate College H-8, IMCB Nilore, IMCB H-9, and lastly IMCB F-10/4. A large number of faculty members from Federal Government Colleges across Islamabad attended the ceremony. Dr. Fida-ul-Mustafa performed the duties of stage secretary, while senior ptofessors and colleagues paid glowing tributes to the retiring professor.
