Islamabad : Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday said that promotion of technology in the country is one of the top priorities of the government.
Chairing the meeting of Board of Governors of Special Technology Zones Authority in Islamabad on Monday, the premier reiterated his government’s commitment to provide all possible facilities to investors for profitable business activities in the country.
Prime Minister directed for timely completion of establishment of Islamabad Special Technology Zone.
The Prime Minister was briefed on the progress of establishment of Islamabad Special Technology Zone and was informed that renowned IT companies are showing special interest and commitment to invest in this zone.
The meeting was briefed over the establishment of special technology zones in rural sectors, projects to give technical and professional training to the youngsters and job creation for the youth.
Prime Minister Imran Khan while lauding the developments and achievements of authority said that govt’s foremost priority is to enhance technological advancement in the country.
The meeting also gave approval to Special Technology Zone Rules 2021
