Islamabad: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Zonal Office Lahore, in close collaboration with the FIA Cyber Crime Circle, conducted a successful raid against PTML (Ufone) franchisee located at Khan Telecommunication, near UBL Ballo Khel Road, Mianwali. The franchisee was found to be involved in the illegal issuance of SIMs. During the raid, the FIA seized 1 laptop, 3 BVS devices, and 1 Mobile phone. In addition, 5,000 digital images of fingerprints from mobile phone of the owner were also recovered by FIA. The owner of the franchise was arrested at the spot and FIR has been registered by the agency. FIA Cybercrime Circle is further investigating the case. Staff Report
