ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has received Rs19.39 billion (US $98.49 million approximately) against the third instalment of licence renewal fee from two cellular mobile operators (CMOs). According to a press statement issued on Thursday, the cellular mobile operators include Telenor Pakistan and Pakistan Mobile Communication Ltd. (Jazz). TLTP
The regulator said the amount has been deposited in the Federal Consolidated Fund.
With this deposit, the total deposits by PTA in the federal consolidated fund during the current financial year 2021-22 have reached Rs102.5 billion (US $577 million approximately), said the statement.
