The provincial spokesperson of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Ikhtiar Wali Khan has criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership, particularly in the aftermath of the recent political developments in Islamabad.
In a statement, Khan ridiculed PTI’s so-called revolutionaries, mocking their quick retreat from Islamabad. He noted that what was supposed to be a march for political change turned into a display of cowardice, with leaders such as Ali Amin Gandapur fleeing, abandoning their supporters, including women and children, at D-Chowk.
He termed the PTI’s actions as futile and emphasized that a political movement based on weapons and violence would never succeed.
The PML-N leader claimed that PTI’s efforts were ultimately doomed, pointing out that the once-celebrated D-Chowk, where PTI’s political journey began, had now become a symbol of its failure. Ikhtiar Wali claimed that after the failed protest in Islamabad, PTI’s political demise was inevitable, attributing the downfall to the actions of PTI’s founder, Imran Khan, whose decisions led to the party’s ultimate collapse.
He urged the fleeing PTI leaders to rest, as they were no longer a threat to the political landscape.
