KARACHI : PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that PTI government which has obtained loan even to disburse salaries has failed miserably on economic front.
“ Making claims for industrial development despite making admission of fall in GDP growth rate over 22 percent in energy sector are ridiculous. In the entire South Asia Pakistan is atop all the countries in terms of inflation with a ratio of 10.9 percent, he said this in a statement here on Thursday.
He went on to say the lying by PTI government for using statistics of the old population consensus to show higher per capita income has been exposed. PTI government which is obtaining loan to even pay salaries of employees has failed miserably on economic front, he claimed. In Sindh income per capita rose, he added.
PTI government claimed of record production of wheat, he said adding on the other hand the atta prices rose by 28 percent in one year.
How the people can become satisfied with the federal government claim of record production of sugar cane when sugar prices have gone up by 21 percent even during one year, he underlined.
PTI elite took advantage of increase in the price of chicken by 60 percent during one year, he added.
