Iftikhar Ali Mishwani, a Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) PK-60, claimed that the recent Lahore rally has left the current government of Punjab on edge.
He said that the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was spreading false rumors to divert attention from their own shortcomings in the centre and Punjab.
In a statement issued here Iftikhar Mishwani emphasized that PTI founder and former prime minister Imran Khan’s stance on Israel remains unchanged and he has consistently supported Palestine’s right to self-determination on national and international forums.
Mishwani asked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to stop spreading misleading information against Imran Khan and PTI.
He demanded that the Pujab government should prioritize providing relief to the public instead of engaging in propaganda against the PTI.
Mishwani predicts that PTI’s successful rally in Lahore will ultimately lead to the downfall of the current government in the centre.
The rally’s massive turnout has already unsettled the government, and will be the final nail in their coffin.
