PTI leader Yasmin Rashid has filed petition in Supreme Court (SC) Lahore registry against the arrest of Azam Swati.
She has taken plea in the petition that Azam Swati arrest is illegal and he has been arrested on political grounds.
It has been requested in the petition that action be initiated against those responsible for arrest of Azam Swati. Azam Swati family has been subjected to excesses of which suo motu action should be taken.
Talking to media men after filing the petition in SC Lahore registry, Yasmin Rashid said she will file a petition against Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
All the women will voice protest against Interior minister Rana Sana Ullah over inhuman treatment meted out to women by him. We hope Chief justice of Pakistan will administer justice to us.
She stated country situation is deteriorating day by day. The sanctity of veil and four walls be ensured.
She warned country is on the way to go default. The economy has been devastated. Their condition turned miserable condition when Imran Khan talked of dissolving assembly.
