PTI Ministers say voters reject PDM ideology in Punjab by-polls

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Housing Dr Amjad Ali has said that voters have rejected the ideology of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and elected candidates of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Punjab’s by-election, adding that ‘imported government failed on all fronts’.
He said that PTI won the Punjab by-polls despite the use of state machinery and voters for the second time elected its party candidates and reposed their trust on the leadership of Imran Khan.
“Despite all the tactics and propagandas of the incumbent government against Imran Khan, PTI emerged victorious in the by-elections of Punjab,” he added.
Dr Amjad said voters in KP and Punjab still believe in Imran Khan leadership and in upcoming general elections PTI candidates across the country will bag overwhelming majority.
He expressed these views while speaking to media persons in his office at Civil Secretariat Peshawar.
On this occasion, Provincial Minister Dr Amjad Ali said people have rejected the imported government in all respects that is why the PDM suffered a historic defeat in Punjab.

Kamran Bangash said that PDM suffered a historic defeat in Punjab and PTI manage to achieve a historic win over all major political parties of the country, adding that next general elections in the country will also prove that voters will follow the ideology of Imran Khan.
He said that the people of KP were stopped from entering Islamabad on May 25 and 21 billion rupees of the merged districts were also stopped.
“Our leadership was banned from entering Punjab but no action was taken by the Election Commission politics of discrimination and division. The turnout of the election proves that the people participated fully in the election process,” he added.
