ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly (NA) Ayyaz Sadiq and PTI chief whip have held an important meeting on the matter of appointment of opposition leader. As per media reports, PTI chief whip Aamir Dogar has met Speaker NA Ayyaz Sadiq in connection with appointment of opposition leader in NA. The two held extensive exchange of views on the matter of appointment of opposition leader. Aamir Dogar provided to NA speaker copy of the order regarding dismissal of Omar Ayub petition in Peshawar High Court. PTI chief whip requested NA speaker to appoint opposition leader in NA soon. Aamir Dogar took the plea PTI has withdrawn all the cases regarding seat of opposition leader. Now no hindrance remained any more in the appointment of opposition leader following the settlement of legal matters. It is pertinent to mention here Speaker NA had earlier written 4 letters to PTI wherein clarification was sought about the matters related to appointment of opposition leader. DNA
