In a rare development, the newly-formed Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf-Parliamentarian nominated a nine-member group of spokespersons who will give an official version of the party on various political issues and will appear to the media to deliberate on the party’s manifesto.
According to a notification issued by the chairman of the PTI-P Pervez Khattak, senior leaders including Zia Ullah Bangash, Dilroz Khan, Nadia Sher Khan, Syed Israr Badshah, Syed Mian Iqbal, Habib Noor, Mansoor Ali Durrani, Malik Wajid Khan and Haji Shaikat Ali have been named as party’s official spokespersons.
“In view of the power conferred upon me as a chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Parliamentarian, I am pleased to announce the following as spokes persons of the party, they will appear in the electronic media to deliberate on the party manifesto,” the notification read.
It is pertinent to mention here that Zia Ullah Bangash and Malik Wajid Khan were lawmakers of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) from Peshawar but after the 9th May incidents they quit the party and joined PTI-P.
Similarly, Haji Shaukat Ali was also a PTI MNA from Peshawar and later joined PTI-P.
