PPP central leader Sherry Rehman has said fake news and invectives have come from PTI more than any one else.
“Criticism on government is not criticism on state” she said this in a twitter here Tuesday.
She went on to say all political parties , journalists and human rights organizations have rejected Prevention of Electronic Crimes Ordinance but the meeting held under Prime Minister Imran Khan has termed the criticism on PECA unjust and uncalled for.
If ordinance is meant for preventing fake news then why the definition of fake news has not been spelt out therein, she inquired.
The business of this government is running on ordinances. During three and half years over 70 ordinances have been promulgated. If your intent was fair then why the amendments were not presented in the parliament. Why the sessions of parliament were deferred.
She underscored PTI should stop considering itself state. We will challenge this act.
