The provincial secretary information of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Zahir Shah Toru has said that after consultation with Insaf Lawyers Forum a joint candidate would be fielded in Peshawar High Court Bar elections.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday Zahir Shah Toru said that a joint candidate would be fielded for the upcoming Peshawar High Court Bar elections.
He shared that Insaf Lawyers Forum and Moazzam Butt Advocate group held two rounds of talks to work out a plan of action. However, no candidate has been finalized for the election, he added.
Moazzam Butt Advocate meetings with CM-KP Mahmood Khan did not mean that he would be the party candidate of Insaf Lawyers Forum, he added.
PTI-KP spokesperson Moazzam Butt Advocate gave the impression that Insaf Lawyer Forum has nominated him as a joint candidate, adding that sharing photos of the general meeting with him has nothing to do with the bar election.
“Chief Minister Mehmood Khan does not interfere in such decisions of the Insaf Lawyer Forum. After consultation with the party leadership, PTI will announce its joint candidate for the Peshawar High Court Bar Association elections.
