PTI to hold rallies against ‘curbs on media’ today: Zahir Shah


Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chapter has decided to take out processions across the province to denounce ‘imposition of curbs’ on the media. The announcement was made by the provincial information secretary of PTI and Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Zhair Shah Turo here on Tuesday. He said, “PTI chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the party workers and leaders to stage protests against the restrictions on media and arrest of journalists by the incumbent government.” The workers and leaders will take to the street n Wednesday to condemn the federal government policies against the journalist’s community, he added. Zahir Shah said that a large rally will be held in the provincial capital, Peshawar and party supporters and workers will also hold rallies in district headquarters. DLP Report
