PESHAWAR: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Vice Chairperson Dr Faiza Rasheed has said that the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is taking heavy debt from international financial institutions to finance its budget. She said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has failed at all fronts as it’s failing to control inflation and control the prices of power, adding that the province has been running on the external resources. She said that PTI did not stand on the container before the election and did not take loans from foreign countries. She said that the high-sounding claims were based on outright lies as the change of government in the last two and a half years has broken all records of loans taken from abroad and has come out on top. Once again, rumors of a Rs 14 hike in petrol price are circulating. If it continues like this, people will be forced to sell their vehicles and motorcycles and buy horses as the government wants, she added. DLP Report
