Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers took out a rally here on Friday against their own party Member of National Assembly (MNA) Nasir Musazai after accusing him of supporting opposition candidates in local body elections in Pishtakhara tehsil.
A large number of PTI workers led by Samiullah Khan, a candidate of PTI for Pishtakhara tehsil chairman, protest over the role of MNA Nasir Musazai and demand his membership termination.
Speaking to participant Samiullah Khan said that party should terminate the membership of the MNA Nasir Musazai as he allegedly supported Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) candidate in local body election.
Later on, PTI workers also addressed a press conference at Peshawar Press Club (PPC).
On the occasion, Samiullah Khan told reporters that in the local body elections, government funds were used against PTI candidates and full pledged support was given to opposition candidates in Pishtakhara tehsil.
He alleged that the MNA Nasir Musazai had already made deals with other parties for changing its political loyalty in the upcoming general election.
Samiullah Khan said that PTI workers in the tehsil were completely sidelined by the MNA, adding that workers of the party have decided to come on the street.
He demanded of Prime Minister Imran Khan to terminate the basic party membership of MNA Nasir Musazai.
