Punishment of PTI founder is based on malice: Iftikhar Mashwani

Member of Provincial Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Iftikhar Ali Mashwani said that more than four thousand innocent workers are in various jails of Punjab, civil martial law is in force in the country.
He expressed these views while talking to the media at Mardan press club. Mashwani congratulated the newly elected cabinet of Mardan press club including President Muhammad Riaz Khan Mayar, Vice President Hidayat-ur-Rehman Hoti, General Secretary Perveez Khan, Joint Secretary Aamir Shoaib and Finance Secretary Perveez Shaheen.
Senior Journalist Ashraf Khan, Lutfullah Lutf, Bakht Muhammad, Falak Sher, Muhammad Arif, Faqir Hussain Hoti and Akhunzada Fazal Haq were also present. Iftikhar Ali Mashwani said that the federal government is not serious in negotiations. He added that the punishment of the founder of PTI is based on bad intentions.
Mashwani said that cases have been registered against all MPAs, MNAs and PTI workers, including the founder of PTI, on the basis of political differences and bad intentions. He said that PTI workers are not afraid of cases, the founder of PTI will never ask for NRO, and is facing all the cases. He added that the founder of PTI was sentenced on the basis of malice and an appeal has been filed in the High Court against the sentence. The sentence will end soon. He said that the provincial government is serious about serving the people and also to end the problems of journalists.
The MPA said that two months have passed since the innocent workers were languishing in different jails of Punjab. The Punjab police mistreated and tortured the arrested workers. He added that more than five cases have also been registered against him in Punjab. He added that the cruel acts of the government against the PTI chairman and workers has increased the popularity of party chief and party among the masses.
